Job Summary

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who require individualized support to meet their academic and personal goals. You will develop and implement IEPs, provide instruction and support to students, and collaborate with general education teachers and other special education professionals to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other special education professionals to ensure student success
  • Track student data and progress towards IEP goals
  • Manage and lead a team of teaching assistants in providing one-on-one instructional and behavioral support to students
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in any subject
  • Current Colorado teaching license with a special education generalist and/or special education specialist endorsement(s)
  • Pass a background check
  • Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of lead teaching experience
  • History of working with special needs populations
  • Understand ABC data collection
  • History of case management
  • CPI/NCI Trained
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a salary range of $31,000 to $48,400 depending on experience and level of education.
