Medical Facilities of America is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist who holds a valid license in speech pathology in Virginia or is actively accumulating the supervisory experience required for licensure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying the needs of patients who require speech therapy intervention and delivering services in accordance with state and federal regulations. They will collaborate with center staff to promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech therapy services to patients in accordance with treatment plans and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid license in speech pathology in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with patients with various communication disorders and needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
