About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Technician II to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
  • ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks (preferred)
  • Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
