About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Technician to join our team at Blue Origin. As an Integration Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and integration of our spacecraft and launch vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and integrate various spacecraft and launch vehicle components, including structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated systems.
  • Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic proof/leak testing to ensure system integrity.
  • Collaborate with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback on assembly processes, and support development tests.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for assembly tasks, ensuring adherence to aerospace standards.
  • Plan and communicate assembly steps for complex mechanical installations.
  • Work safely with hazardous systems, including chemicals and high-pressure systems.
  • Contribute to a team environment with multiple and rapidly changing priorities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with solenoid, poppet, check, or ball valves.
  • Experience with sealing interfaces in cryogenic systems, including Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Helium.
  • Experience with fluid system fill, bleed, assembly, and purge operations.
  • Experience working in a product design, manufacturing, construction, laser lab, prototyping, or machine shop environment.
  • Experience with precision assembly processes using LN2 or other freezing agents, vacuum ovens, or other expansion agents.
  • Experience with safety-critical systems.
  • Ability to setup and operate precision calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and optical measuring instruments.
  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting aerospace, military hardware, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to use standard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipment.
  • Experience with 5S, FOD, and lean principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
  • Ability to document and maintain accurate records and strict procedural compliance, as well as read drawings and prints.
  • Ability to use standard tools and basic fabrication equipment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to remain flexible and work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
