Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide Line Service personnel effectively during the assigned shift.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all operations.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and customer service.
  • Promote the principles of the "Atlantic Attitude" among all team members.
  • Perform duties as a Line Service Technician when necessary.
  • Communicate work progress and significant issues to the Line Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Deliver relevant information and standards to Line Service employees.

Essential Duties
  • Manage staffing and delegate tasks to Line Service Technicians.
  • Enforce company policies and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Provide clear performance expectations and feedback to team members.
  • Monitor daily aircraft schedules and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Engage with customers to confirm satisfaction with services provided.
  • Address and resolve customer service issues promptly.
  • Inspect facilities for cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate fuel inventory records.
  • Adhere to quality control standards, including ATA 103 and NFPA 407.
  • Ensure fueling equipment and courtesy vehicles are well-maintained.
  • Conduct daily audits of paperwork related to fuel transactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a strong background in aviation ground handling services. Atlantic Aviation offers comprehensive training to ensure all employees meet high safety and customer service standards. Candidates must be adaptable to various weather conditions and flexible with scheduling, as operations run 24/7. Minimum requirements include:

  • High school diploma.
  • One year of experience in line service.
  • Valid state driver's license meeting company insurability criteria.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • NATA Certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Basic math skills with minimal errors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and loud noise levels. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
