Job Title: ORD Airport GSE Mechanic Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GSE Mechanic Supervisor to join our team at ORD Airport. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fueling and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of GSE mechanics and technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of fueling equipment and facilities to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall maintenance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities and fueling vendors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a maintenance or aviation-related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving maintenance goals.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fueling equipment and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.

The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. Must have electrical, maintenance, experience with the Fuel Farm SCADA System and PLC, and computer knowledge.
