Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently prepare paint orders to meet customer requirements.
- Tint and mix products as necessary to fulfill customer requests.
- Create drawdowns for customer approval.
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
- Keep accurate records of work orders and formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as required.
- Restock shelves and arrange displays to enhance store presentation.
- Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Support delivery efforts when necessary.
- Engage with customers in person and via phone to identify their needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
- Process sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain assigned areas in a presentable and well-stocked condition.
- Stay informed about product offerings and available options.
- Adhere to inventory control protocols.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have received a satisfactory performance appraisal.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required HR training courses.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Prior experience in selling paint and related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing machinery.
- Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish.
