Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary: Provider Healthcare is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide excellent nursing care in a Behavioral Health setting. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, and able to de-escalate patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and treatments for patients with substance abuse, severe mental illness, and/or intellectual disability
  • Gather information on the needs, duration of care, and habilitation of patients who are severely mentally ill and/or intellectually disabled
  • Work collaboratively with RN supervisor on patient care and safety duties
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands at a time

Requirements:

  • Current Arizona LPN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Able to perform Accu-Cheks
  • No convictions for felonies or misdemeanors involving substance abuse, sexual misbehavior, or assault
