Ryder System is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, helping Fortune 500 businesses and startups navigate the complex world of logistics. We're currently seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Laurel Hill, NC.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations, and safety. This role requires strong leadership and motivating skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the performance of salaried employees and hourly paid employees under your responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
  • Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field required
  • Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $75,000 and $85,000 per year, based on experience. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
