Key Responsibilities
  • Service Department Operations
    • Provide prompt and dependable service to customers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.
    • Complete repair work within the scheduled time period, continually improving efficiency and productivity.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
    • Assist the Service Writer with writing work orders, communicating with customers, and test riding vehicles.
    • Notify the Service Writer of any additional work needed or delays in completion, ensuring timely communication with customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Minimize come-backs and deal with them promptly and satisfactorily when they occur.
    • Ensure customer vehicles are returned in a clean and satisfactory condition.
  • Requirements
    • Completion of a factory-authorized formal training program or equivalent work experience.
    • Current motorcycle license.
    • Service technicians must own a set of tools within 60 days of hire.
Working Conditions
  • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
  • Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
