We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at Pennsy Supply, a CRH company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our asphalt plant, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain asphalt plant equipment, including crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA/DOT regulations.
  • Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, greasing, and cleaning.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality products.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in asphalt production or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment.
