About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at a not-for-profit hospital in Round Rock, Texas. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, working under the general supervision of a Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures, adhering to established protocols and maintaining production and quality of imaging procedures.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exams are performed and establish rapport with patients and others.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures, positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and maintaining equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain relevant documentation, including requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program
  • Less than 1 year of experience

Certifications/Licenses/Registration

  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
