Job Summary

National Pipe & Plastics, a leading manufacturer of PVC pipes, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the industrial maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and testing of machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement repairs and replacements as needed
  • Install and assemble new equipment and machinery, following industry best practices and safety guidelines
  • Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
  • Log performed maintenance work through paper documentation or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Cincinnati Milacron machines and Theason Extruders preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proven work experience with electrical and mechanical components
  • At least one year of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plastics extrusion processing
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day
