Job Summary:

CGH Medical Center is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our clinical laboratory team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing
  • Obtain and process specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen collection and processing

Requirements:

  • Completion of a NAACLS-approved phlebotomy program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
