**Job Summary**

Higheredmilitary is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to teach Pathophysiology (BI 212E) in an asynchronous, online modality. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teach BI 212E and engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching the section, including grading, office hours, student engagement, and academic assessment.
  • Develop and implement effective online teaching strategies to promote student learning and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other STEM faculty to ensure consistency across class sections as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Biology or a related field.
  • At least three years of prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level, with expertise in online teaching and pedagogy.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom learning environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other faculty members.
  • Familiarity with academic assessment and online learning management systems.

**Working Conditions:**

  • Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
  • May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
