Role Overview:
As a Sr. Underwriter, Professional Liability, you will be responsible for building a new book of business centered around MPL and additional lines as they become available. Your impact will extend beyond production, as you will influence our GTM strategy, represent At-Bay at marketing events, and serve as a subject matter expert to our internal teams. You will review and underwrite complex Professional Liability risks, develop pricing and risk strategies, and establish strong relationships with brokers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute marketing plans to increase market share with preferred brokers, focusing on new business and retention goals.
Manage and grow At-Bay's core broker base and Gross Written Premium (GWP), ensuring our brokers receive world-class service.
Propose and negotiate price, coverage, and terms for insurance policies, identifying account rounding opportunities.
Solicit and analyze risk within At-Bay's guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and service for existing renewals and new business portfolio.
Collaborate with cyber analytics, product, marketing, and other teams to provide brokers with the best At-Bay has to offer.
Work with technology and data teams to create tools enhancing the underwriting process.

Requirements:
Hands-on experience with MPL/Professional Liability insurance underwriting fundamentals and principles.
Solid knowledge of specialty commercial underwriting, insurance industry theories, and practices.
Strong technology affinity and ability to work with advanced analytics software.
Excellent communication style and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment.
