Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our company, interacting with patients in a professional and courteous manner. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as the PSR II is responsible for collecting quality blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
• Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection
• Prepare blood samples for lab testing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain a safe and professional environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear explanations of procedures and answering questions
• Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient demographic information and specimen collection data

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record required, if applicable
