About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Test QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Legrand NA. As a key member of our Building Control Systems division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative solutions for the control of natural and electric light in spaces where people live, learn, and work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Firmware and Software: Conduct thorough testing of firmware and software to identify defects and ensure quality and reliability.
  • Develop and Execute Test Scenarios: Create and manage test scenarios to validate software functionality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Report and Manage Software Bugs: Report and manage software bugs to ensure timely resolution and provide technical support to the team.
  • Participate in Alpha and Beta Test Groups: Participate in Alpha and Beta test groups to provide feedback and ensure the quality of our products.
Requirements
  • Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate Computer Science or Engineering program.
  • Experience: Experience with software, hardware, and networking is a plus.
  • Understanding of SQA Methodologies: Understanding of SQA methodologies and procedures is required.
  • Development and Execution of New Test Scenarios: Development and execution of new test scenarios is a key responsibility.
  • Bug Reporting and Management Experience: Bug reporting and management experience is essential.
  • Good Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills: Good debugging and troubleshooting skills are required.
