Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at a precision, light-gauge sheet metal fabricator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and be able to work with a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate welding.
  • Perform GMAW and TIG welding on a range of materials.
  • Use weld fixtures to produce high-quality weldments.
  • Build weldments without the aid of a weld fixture, requiring attention to detail and layout skills.
  • Perform secondary work, including grinding and sanding.
  • Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Comply with all quality and safety requirements to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

Requirements:

  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
  • At least 2+ years of welding experience, with a strong background in GMAW and TIG welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings, weld symbols, and basic shop math.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills to interact with coworkers.
