As a member of our Silicon Technologies division, you will play a crucial role in the design and production of our next-generation, high-performance, and energy-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC) technologies. Your contributions will ensure that Apple products and services operate seamlessly and efficiently, enhancing the user experience for millions.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Product Quality and Reliability team, focusing on the readiness of integrated circuit (IC) components for mass production. You will identify and analyze failure modes related to both analog and digital ICs, fostering strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and execute product development plans, including characterization, correlation, and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R).
- Conduct data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to identify root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with design, process, and test engineers to implement corrective actions for both new and established products and technologies.
- Define and finalize production screening specifications based on design intent and characterization results.
- Perform statistical analyses on large data sets and implement yield and correlation analyses across all testing levels.
- Develop characterization plans and generate comprehensive reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) characterization and data collection from testing programs.
- Proficient in analyzing evaluation reports for both analog and digital ICs.
- Prior experience in product engineering for complex system designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing of analog and digital ICs.
- Proficient in conducting statistical data analyses.
- Experience in managing product yield in high-volume environments.
- Able to design and direct experiments for root cause analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
Compensation and Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. The base pay for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit awards and discounted stock purchases through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounts on products and services, and reimbursement for educational expenses related to career advancement.
