We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University. As a key member of our Operating Room staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to the surgical team during procedures
- Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgical team and patient, maintaining a safe and aseptic environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician
- Ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act
