Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our team at Praxis Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment
  • Support the development of tools and services that increase the efficiency of software to production within a DevOps culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions
  • Design and implement automation tools and scripts using Bash/Python
  • Troubleshoot large Linux clusters and administer/monitor Kubernetes clusters
  • Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and experience with IaC principles and automation tools
Requirements
  • Experience with Linux CLI and scripting languages such as Bash/Python
  • General technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components
  • Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience using Git for version control
Desired Skills
  • Experience using Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications
  • Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications
