About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our Renewables team in Minnetonka, MN. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including site design, facility planning, and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to multiple Westwood projects
  • Conduct due diligence and site investigations
  • Design and develop site plans, including facility plans, cross sections, grading and erosion control plans, and stormwater management facilities
  • Prepare specifications and analyze existing delivery routes to determine road conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a four-year or two-year technical school, college, or university majoring in civil/environmental engineering
  • Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Civil 3D and AutoCAD drafting experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to travel and work in the field for extended periods
