Job Summary:

The Traveling Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of Labor and Delivery nursing.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
