Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team of professionals in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, initiating start of care face-to-face visits, and performing evaluation tasks, including vital signs and mobility/function review. The successful candidate will also be responsible for evaluating strength, setting goals to improve these areas, and reporting patient progress to patients/caregivers/physicians/agency office as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' conditions and initiate start of care face-to-face visits
  • Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and mobility/function review
  • Evaluate strength and set goals to improve these areas
  • Report patient progress to patients/caregivers/physicians/agency office as needed
  • Provide supervision and competency checks for COTAs as appropriate
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have successfully completed at least a FL-approved master's OTR degree program from an industry-accredited institution
  • Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
  • Must successfully complete a Level II background check prior to offer and initiation of training
  • Must complete a competency check and all orientation prior to initiating patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current FL State OTR license
Work Environment:

We serve the following counties: Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and Hernando.
