Position Highlights:
*Work in partnership with the Director of Nursing to ensure sufficient nursing coverage for safe patient care.
*Engage with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and assess strategies aimed at achieving patient objectives and reducing rehospitalizations.
*Guide and educate nursing staff, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, while serving as a resource for all personnel within the nursing unit regarding service quality.
*Supervise medication management to guarantee adequate supplies and compliance with Genesis policies.
*Provide direct patient care alongside other unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Associate Degree in Nursing with three (3) years of nursing experience, Nursing Diploma with three (3) years of nursing experience, or BSN with two (2) years of nursing experience. Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state is required.
