Job Description
We seek an experienced Research Fellow to join our team in the Drinking Water Assistance Program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with MassDEP and public water systems to ensure compliance with drinking water regulations. Your expertise in lead and copper rule revisions, PFAS regulations, and safe drinking water initiatives will be invaluable to our program.

Responsibilities
  • Support MassDEP regional offices in developing technical guidance and procedures.
  • Assist public water systems in preparing applications for financial assistance.
  • Review laboratory reports and perform quality assurance and quality control assessments.
  • Participate in public outreach and education efforts to engage public water systems.
  • Travel extensively to visit public water systems and meet with stakeholders.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in environmental science, public health, or a related field. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred but not required.
