Job Summary

As a Quality Specialist at Magellan Health, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our Care Centers and offices. You will be responsible for coordinating quality and process improvement activities, conducting quality control reviews and internal audits, and summarizing findings and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate assigned quality and process improvement activities, including accreditation support, process improvement projects, and monitoring of performance guarantees.
Conduct quality control reviews and internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Summarize findings and prepare reports on quality and process improvement initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of customer and external audits.

Requirements

Up to 2 years of quality improvement and auditing experience in the healthcare field.
Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement processes and performance measurement.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines and timelines.
High degree of organization required.
Expertise in data management, data analysis, reporting, word processing, and project management skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VISIO, and MS Project.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field.
Relevant certifications in quality improvement and auditing.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50,225 - $75,335, based on current national data. This position may be eligible for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and voluntary benefits.
