Job Summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled HR Assistant to oversee our Human Resource efforts in the cargo division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a wide range of human resources functions, including hiring and training new and existing employees, planning programs and processes to improve employee welfare, and managing payroll and employee records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate employee complaints and provide personnel policy and procedure guidance
  • Draft disciplinary actions and oversee the onboarding process for new hires
  • Respond to employee inquiries and maintain a positive working culture
  • Liaise with external recruiters and internal teams to ensure timely new hire processes
  • Manage unemployment claims and maintain accurate employee records
  • Monitor and maintain the HR ticketing system and provide support to field employees and supervisors
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related HR generalist experience, with a focus on Employee Relations
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed and interact effectively with supervisors, employees, and external vendors
