Maintenance Planner Job Description

The Maintenance Planner is a critical role responsible for reducing equipment downtime, loss prevention, and related site costs by driving the organization to a planned proactive state.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain validated procedures to ensure optimal execution and analysis of all planned work.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams to develop and maintain job plans, records, and files.
  • Coordinate manpower, parts, and materials for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Utilize SAP to schedule work and ensure seamless execution.
  • Work closely with supervisors and parts coordinators to schedule work and manage inventory.
  • Support TPM Pillar, HSE Program Elements, and Resource Conservation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • SAP knowledge for scheduling.
  • Ability to detail plan and schedule internal resources and contractors.
  • Strong competencies in technical knowledge and project management.
  • Formal and hands-on training in computer software and CMMS.
  • Good oral/written communication skills, including presentation skills.
