Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
- Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Oversee the preparation and submittal of project designs, deliverables, and permit packages.
- Coordinate with local jurisdictional agencies to ensure compliance with development requirements.
- Assist in construction administration, including direct communication with clients and contractors.
- Mentor and train junior and entry-level engineers to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure Thompson Engineering's projects meet the highest standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering projects, with a focus on planning, permitting, and design of land development or linear infrastructure projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and industry-accepted drainage design software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
