Job Summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a skilled Central Sterile Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Endoscopy Suite, you will be responsible for processing, sterilizing, and maintaining reusable instruments. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $18.15-$23.75, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments according to Clinic procedure.
• Maintain equipment in good working order.
• Monitor instruments for quality and seek repair or replacement.
• Maintain current knowledge of disinfection/sterilization technique through continuing education and professional equipment.
• Perform quality control procedures on a routine basis and document according to established procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Detailed and procedure-oriented required.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to specific guidelines.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center or central sterile services, preferred.
• Certificate of completion from a formal central sterile processing technology course, preferred.
• National certification, preferred.
