About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
  • Inventory and arrange sterile equipment and supplies for each procedure.
  • Participate in the preparation and movement of patients.
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instrumentation and equipment.
  • Access computer information as needed, such as preference lists and digital images.
  • Participate in all safety initiatives and adhere to quality programs such as SCIP and SCOAP.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology school or recognized course of training as a Surgical Technologist.
  • One year experience as a surgical technologist in a full-service operating room preferred.
  • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
  • Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required by date of hire.
