About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to provide essential support to sales engineers and customers for turnkey automation solutions. As a Manufacturing Application Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding customers and sales engineers through product selection, implementation, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and define project requirements.
  • Deliver on-site support to customers in the Elgin, IL region.
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers and sales teams.
  • Ensure customer success by resolving technical challenges and providing expert guidance.
  • Become a trusted advisor on our automation products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in automation.
  • Proficiency with PLC, HMI, industrial computer, industrial communication and I/O, robotics, sensors, safety, machine vision, and industrial motion control products.
  • Strong communication and time management skills applicable to turnkey automation solutions.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary, based on experience. Up to $120,000 base.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan with matching contributions, paid vacation and holidays, and potential for long-term career growth and advancement within the company.
