**Job Overview:**

Northern Pharmacy & Medical Equip Corp is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Immunization Specialist to join our team. As a PRN Vaccinating Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in administering COVID-19 vaccines and promoting public health.

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the immunization status of patients, educating them about vaccine-preventable diseases, and administering COVID-19 vaccines using safe and proper techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vaccine Administration: Administer COVID-19 vaccines to patients according to manufacturer's instructions and Northern Pharmacy Standard Procedure.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers about the importance of immunization, following recommended immunization schedules, possible side effects of immunizations, and aftercare.
  • Record Keeping: Complete client records to ensure accurate vaccine administration and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Maryland with an active Maryland Pharmacist certificate to administer immunizations or vaccinations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proficiently interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
