**Job Overview:**

Northern Pharmacy & Medical Equipment Corp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD.

**About the Role:**

We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to perform order entry tasks and support the medication dispensing process. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling and provide exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Enter new and refill orders accurately and promptly based on assigned priorities.
  • Complete all data fields according to pharmacy procedures, including the use of approved abbreviations, dosage, and day supply calculations.
  • Assist customers and patients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Cross-train in all areas of the Pharmacy department.
  • Consult with dispensing pharmacists regarding prescription order clarification, entry problems, or concerns.

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you must have a licensed/registered pharmacy technician certification as required by Maryland state law. Previous pharmacy experience is also required, with one year in a retail pharmacy environment being preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience using PioneerRX.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for 7-10 hours a day and lift up to 25 lbs.

**Benefits:**

We offer a competitive salary of $42,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus sign-on bonus, medical, dental, and more. You must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination at the time of interview.
