Unit OverviewSurgical Trauma 3A is a 33-bed unit that focuses on adult post-operative and trauma patients. Our unit is fast-paced and dynamic, with nurse-patient ratios of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night.
Responsibilities- Conduct head-to-toe assessments and read telemetry strips
- Insert IVs, manage catheters, trachs, and ostomies, and provide wound care
- Manage chest tubes and other critical care interventions
- Graduate of a state-approved professional nurse program
- Current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a temporary work permit
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification
