We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at UCHealth. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patient populations for therapy needs.
Responsibilities- Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
- Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
- Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
- Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
- Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
- Supervise and delegate the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
