Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all on-site coordination of projects for Bjerk Builders, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely completion, quality control, and jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure critical path completion.
  2. Ensure Quality Control by performing duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  3. Communicate Effectively with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
  4. Monitor Subcontractor Performance to ensure compliance with contracted scope of work.
  5. Coordinate Inspections with local jurisdictions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  6. Identify and Resolve Conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team.
  7. Maintain a Daily Log of activities on the jobsite.
  8. Conduct Regular Site Walks to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  9. Preside Over Weekly Meetings to coordinate work and issue notices of non-compliance.
  10. Ensure a Clean and Organized Jobsite and perform job progress and completion punch list.
Leadership Skills and Characteristics
  1. Effective Communication and relationship-building skills.
  2. Maintains Strong Relationships within and outside of the organization.
  3. Fosters Relationships with key subcontractors, architects, engineers, and property managers.
  4. Process-Oriented and Detail-Focused with timely follow-up and effective time management skills.
  5. Team Collaboration and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience as a Construction Superintendent or equivalent.
  2. In-Depth Understanding of construction procedures, safety rules, and legal guidelines.
  3. Ability to Read and Understand Blueprints and knowledge of necessary permits and building codes.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office and Construction Software and ability to work in a construction environment.
