Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pathologist to join our team at HCA Physician Recruitment. The successful candidate will have expertise in transfusion medicine and blood banking, and will provide medical oversight for our transfusion medicine services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical oversight for transfusion medicine services at six facilities, including level 1 and level 2 trauma, bone marrow transplant, solid organ transplant, and blood donation services.
  • Work cooperatively with diverse environments, including hospital medical staff, technical staff, and referring physicians.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with hospital medical staff, technical staff, and referring physicians.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for transfusion medicine services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • AP/CP board certified pathologist.
  • Board certified/board eligible in transfusion medicine/blood banking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
