We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a School District in Colorado. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their communication and speech skills. This position involves travel to various locations within the Fort Lauderdale area.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders in clients of all ages.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address clients' specific speech and language needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, implementing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients' progress and generalize skills outside of therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Stay informed about advancements in speech-language pathology and apply best practices in therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an SLP in the state of Colorado.
  • Experience working with clients of various ages and communication disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and other professionals.
  • Ability to travel to different locations within Fort Lauderdale for client sessions.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 9-month assignment (specific start and end dates to be provided during the hiring process).
  • Compensation: $40-50per hour (rate may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
