Guthrie Cortland Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Assesses and documents patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Develops and implements individualized patient care plans.
  • Provides safe and effective patient care, including medication administration and IV insertion.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS-CPR certification.
  • At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
