Position Summary
We are looking for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to join our team, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Completing and reviewing necessary documentation for each patient, including exams, scheduling, physician orders, departmental logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.
  • Transporting patients to and from their rooms and the emergency department.
  • Monitoring equipment for mechanical safety.
  • Explaining procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
  • Positioning patients on the examination table and adjusting immobilization devices to achieve optimal imaging of the specified body area as requested by the physician.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to meet the needs of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • If ARRT (R) certified and MRI Registry eligible, you must obtain ARRT (MR) certification within one year of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
