Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all shifts run smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for assisting with operational controls, training and developing team members, and contributing to the achievement of sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in the overall operation of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Support the development and implementation of operational controls to drive sales and profit growth.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales and profit goals by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Ensure that all restaurant policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • At least six months of experience as a manager in a restaurant or retail environment.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and upholding company core values.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
