Job Title: Floating Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Floating Property Manager to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As a key member of our Property Management team, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth management of our affordable housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in covering property operations during staff absences and provide additional support as needed
  • Train Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, and Leasing Agents on company software, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Residential Transition Specialist and Training Department on training materials
  • Provide coverage at properties for Property Managers and Assistant Managers during staff transitions, vacancies, and vacations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and complete tasks for assigned properties
  • Analyze property functionality and report deficiencies to the Portfolio Manager and Resident Transition Specialist
  • Assist in implementing and executing training schedules for new hires, including preparing detailed training reports
  • Review and report on property files, systems, safety measures, signage, and other key elements
  • Assist with lease ups and help facilitate lease up timelines as needed
  • Proficient in crisis management and preparing properties for emergencies
Requirements:
  • Two years of previous customer service experience
  • One year of previous property management experience
  • One year of previous affordable housing experience (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and HUD) preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Residential Transition Specialist and Training Department
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
