Job Summary

The Security Officer is a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of all associates, guests, and assets. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the organization's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify potential safety hazards and unauthorized access.
  • Respond promptly to guest and associate calls, prioritizing emergencies and providing assistance as needed.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate records, including key logs, lost and found items, and emergency equipment.
  • Ensure daily shift logs and shift pass-down logs are complete and up-to-date.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and maintain constant surveillance of the property.
  • Provide associate safety training and report/resolve safety hazards on a daily basis.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth and secure operation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two to three years of security experience.
  • CPR/First Aid certification and ability to present a current Guard Card.
  • Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements

The Security Officer role requires standing and walking for extended periods, with the ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours. The position also requires bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching to fulfill cleaning tasks. The ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis is also necessary.

The pay scale for the On-Call Security Officer position is $22.00 to $24.00. We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V and maintain a drug-free workplace, performing pre-employment substance abuse testing.
