Position Overview: As the Senior Technical Advisor to the Joint Warfighting Development Division Chief, you will provide expert guidance and oversight in the realm of space operations and joint training evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the operational strategies within the division, establishing priorities and a comprehensive vision for joint wargames and experimentation.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the annual Joint Training Exercise Evaluation Program (JTEEP) objectives.
  • Manage and monitor funding allocations for JTEEP initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external Combatant Commands, Allies, and Partners to develop a cohesive wargame and exercise support strategy.
  • Serve as the primary expert in multi-domain modeling and simulation, specifically for space domain wargames and experiments.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of Department of Defense, Service, Joint Staff, and Command standards related to Joint Training Systems.
  • Extensive expertise in integrating space operations within multi-domain environments.
  • Proficient in modeling and simulation systems relevant to wargames and experimentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of negotiating complex issues with high-level officials and maintaining productive relationships across various agencies.
  • Ability to lead discussions, panels, and working groups effectively, representing the command's interests.
  • Expertise in planning and executing wargame and experimentation projects, with a focus on resource management and strategic implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and integrate future concepts into wargame objectives.
  • Capability to assess and adjust operational workflows to align with resource availability and budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of experience at a comparable level, demonstrating proficiency in the responsibilities outlined above.

Conditions of Employment:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Drug testing is a requirement for this position.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
