Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to join our team at PerkSpot. As a key member of our office support team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming office environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys varied tasks and has a proactive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the office is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
  • Prepare for and welcome guests and any special events that may be happening at the office.
  • Manage office supplies, including ordering, restocking, and maintaining inventory.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including occasionally offsite at our CEO's home in the area.
  • Assist with preparing conference rooms and ensuring equipment is working properly and ready for use.
Personal Support to CEO
  • Run occasional errands, such as picking up packages, dropping off documents, or purchasing supplies.
  • Assist with managing bookings and scheduling for the office itself.
  • Provide general administrative support to the CEO and/or guests in the office, as may be required.
General Administrative Duties
  • Answer emails and inquiries from guests and colleagues.
  • Assist with occasional special projects or tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in an office environment or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for running errands.
  • High level of reliability and discretion, particularly when handling personal tasks for the CEO.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours between 20-30 hours per week. The schedule can be arranged to suit both the candidate and company needs but may require occasional flexibility to accommodate specific tasks or errands.
