We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Advocate to join our team at Promise Early Education Center. As a Family Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of children and families in our community.

Program Overview

Promise Early Education Center is a premier nonprofit early learning program in Central Maine that is dedicated to educating the whole child and preparing them for success in school and beyond. Our agency provides a safe, engaging, and empowering environment for children to learn and grow.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain caseloads with children ranging from 0-5 years and prenatal mothers.
  • Positively influence and interact with children while maintaining a strong understanding of safety and quality of service.
  • Develop individualized support plans per family and child's needs.
  • Record and conduct home visits and socialization attendance.
  • Advocate for children and families and provide guidance and goal setting support for family success.
  • Provide ongoing support and crisis interventions through direct services as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, will consider associate's degree.
  • Valid Maine driver's license with reliable transportation.
