Job Summary:The Pediatric Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and other clinical areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients in the PICU, NICU, and other clinical areas
- Assess and manage patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, bronchiolitis, and pneumonia
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Wisconsin
- CRT and RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- NRP certification
- BLS and PALS certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum two years of experience as a staff therapist in a pediatric or neonatal intensive care unit
