Job Summary:

The Pediatric Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and other clinical areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the PICU, NICU, and other clinical areas
  • Assess and manage patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, bronchiolitis, and pneumonia
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Wisconsin
  • CRT and RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • NRP certification
  • BLS and PALS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum two years of experience as a staff therapist in a pediatric or neonatal intensive care unit
